As a commitment to environmental sustainability, The Sanctuary Collection continues to advance green initiatives by constructing infiltration wells and biopores to support groundwater conservation and maintain the ecological balance of its residential environment.
To date, 273 out of the planned 411 infiltration wells have been completed, along with a target of 600 biopore points aimed at improving water absorption and preventing flooding. This initiative is part of The Sanctuary Collection’s concrete efforts to create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly living space.
As a symbol of this commitment, the ceremonial installation of biopore points was carried out by the Project CEO of PT Cipta Harmoni Lestari, Setia Iskandar Rusli, together with the Head of Cijayanti Village and the District Head of Babakan Madang. This event highlighted the synergy between the developer, local government, and the community in preserving environmental sustainability.
Additionally, the normalization of the Cijayanti River is ongoing to enhance its water retention capacity and improve river flow. So far, 1,330 m³ of sediment has been cleared in the Tanglin Parc cluster, and 945 m³ in the Orchard Riviera cluster, out of a total plan of 2,051 m³.
These efforts are expected to reduce the risk of flooding and create a healthier aquatic ecosystem.
“We believe that tangible actions in water conservation can make a significant impact on the environment. By constructing infiltration wells, biopores, and carrying out river normalization, we are committed to building residences that are in harmony with nature and sustainable,” said Setia Iskandar Rusli, Project CEO of PT Cipta Harmoni Lestari.
More than just a development project, The Sanctuary Collection also invites residents and homeowners to actively participate by providing education on the benefits and maintenance of infiltration wells and biopores. This program is expected to inspire the broader community to contribute to maintaining environmental balance for a greener future.
